Education is the Fundamental right of every citizen of India.

But due to our present education system laws; which grants concession to the reserve categories and not to open category candidates, open category candidates need to pay higher amount of fees and ultimately some have to give up their dreams because of weak economy standards.

All of the individuals who belongs to the open/general category are not born with the golden or silver spoon. Some have to lend money for their education or some have to give up their dreams because of higher fees, because they are not able to afford in-spite of having good scores and brilliant minds.

I am also the victim of this system. I am a technical graduate (Engineer) from one of the reputed institute in Maharashtra. I need to pay full amount of Rs. 55,000/-, some 10-12 years back as my tuition fees. Now, it is in lac per year in reputed  engineering institutes and in the other institutes also. I have to lend money to complete my education. This is the present scenario with all the educational courses whether it a professional course or not. Even there is exemption in the fee amount, and form purchase amount in all competitive exams for the reserved category candidates.

In central-government funded higher education institutions, 22.5% of available seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students (7.5% for STs, 15% for SCs). This reservation percentage has been raised to 49.5% by including an additional 27% reservation for OBCs.

Where are we stand in this? And why we need to pay the complete amount of tuition fees or exam fees? This has to change. As every person who belongs to the open/general category do not a have strong financial background nor the every person who belongs to the reserved category is financially weak.

This reservation system has to change, whether it is in the education or in other general matters. This has to be according to Economy and not by Category

This is why I started a petition asking a government to make changes in current education system from category based to make it economy based.

Help me to reach at least one lakh signatures so that I can show that this is a big issue and needs immediate attention.

The system needs to change and our coming generations need not to face the same which we have gone through. I can't do it without your support. Sign my petition.
