PUC Certification.......

All vehicles should always have & carry a valid PUC Certification according to Rule 115 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules 1989

When a new vehicle is purchased, PUC Certificate is issued with the new vehicle & valid for a year.

After that, one is required to obtain a fresh PUC Certificate through a PUC Testing Centers, authorized by Govt.

It is well known to one & all "HOW MOST OF THE CERTIFICATES ARE BEING ISSUED BY PUC CENTRES, MANY TIMES NOT EVEN TESTING THE VEHICLE"

To make the system easier & acceptable to all & also beneficial to Govt / Environment, ALL THE VEHICLE AUTHORISED CENTRES BY ITS MANUFACTURERS, TO BE AUTHORISED FOR CONDUCTANCE OF PUC TESTING & ISSUE  CERTIFICATE AFTER SERVING OF VEHICLE IS DONE & VALID FOR A YEAR TILL VEHICLE IS DUE FOR ANOTHER SERVICE.

In this way, AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRES / MANUFACTURES shall be responsible on the Quality of servicing done of Vehicle to keep PUC with in limit. However, Traffic Inspector, if requires & desires can check the PUC readings.

If above suggestion is acceptable to Govt, can view & issue amendment on PUC
