The city Puri is heart and soul of the devotees of Supreme Lord Jagannath ( Krishna ) as well as the all residents of Odisha. Through ages, the people have sentiments associated with this particular name Puri. The city has its own religious and historical significance and heritage.  So the name of the city must not change as it hurts the sentiments of many.
