After nearly a decade since Dexter’s escape from Miami (and with a not-so-well-received series finale at that), Dexter has returned to the world, according to Showtime for only one season. We the petitioners are requesting that Showtime release more than one season of Dexter: New Blood.

The premiere episode is projected to have delivered 2.2 million viewers across linear and streaming platforms and is on track to become the most-watched Showtime title ever on OTT on its premiere day, according to the network. It also was the most-watched scripted drama season opener telecast among all premium channels so far this year.

Dexter: New Blood deserves to have more of the story told for many seasons to come.
