Current business interests should never be permitted to erase part of the very painful history of a people. There is a time and place to make money. This is not it!!!

The Holocaust was the worst example of racism intolerance and inhumanity in history. These ghettos were feeders to that killing machine and witnessed horrors perpetrated by local people on local people. Not against an army, but against its innocent local unarmed population. Lessons must be learned and places like this must be preserved so the history remains visible. You cannot hide it or turn away from it... if you do you risk being overtaken by lies and deniers and you dishonour the innocent souls who were tortured, beaten, starved, hung, and frozen to death simply because of their religion.
