As most of you know, kids in school get the chance to display their favorite possessions at school in a performance called "Show and Tell" (or the stylized "Show & Tell"). For many students, this practice ends around kindergarten. We, middle school students, believe this fact should not beheld true. 

Over the course of out time in school, we have continually missed show and tell. As every day goes by, we miss it more and more. We have tried to make this dream of having show and tell once again, come true. All of are teachers have ignored our pleas. Our opinions are being oppressed, and they are not giving us a second thought. We want to end these problems and bring back show and tell.

I want you to think about your favorite possession. Take a moment, and see what you can come up with. It could be your rock collection, it could be your teddy bear, it could be whatever you want. Now think about what it would be like to show it off to other people. It would be amazing, everyone would be in awe. You get to experience its glory so why not your friends at work or school? This is what it would be like to have show and tell.

By signing this petition, you will help reinforce our opinions and let us feel experience show and tell once again. Lets bring this tradition back to Piner-Olivet Charter School.
