The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases around the globe has spiked exponentially in recent weeks and months with the rise of the omicron variant, which has a shorter incubation time and is easier to spread than any other variant.

School districts around the world are returning to online learning to keep students, faculty, and families safe. Shoreline schools has yet to make this shift despite the staff openly speaking on the rising case numbers within the district.

The Shoreline School District is putting students, teachers, family, and other community members at risk with the excuse of students "requiring the interaction" and connections with others.
