The Shoppers Drug Mart in Amherstview Ontario, has sale flyer, store pricing and sale stock availability discrepancies on a regular basis.
Sale tags are regularly on stock items that are not on sale. Sale tags are posted on the wrong stock items, leading customers to wrongfully believe the item is on sale. Items from the sales flyer are not posted on sale, or available on the shelf.
This creates questions and confusion at the cash registers. There is one stock manager who gets angry and abusive at customers when there is any pricing and or stock availability questions or confusion.
Examples of how this stock manager is abusive to customers,
A 75 year old senior citizen asked the stock manager a question about an item in the sales flyer. The stock manager ripped the sales flyer out of the senior citizens hand, sarcastically circled the flyer date and shoved the flyer back at him. Another time the senior citizen asked about a sales flyer item that was not on the shelf. The stock manager got mad and abrupt towards the senior citizen.
I took an item that was tagged on sale to the cash. The item rang up at full price. I pointed out the sales tag to the cashier. The cashier asked me to go get the tag for her. After I brought in the tag to the cashier, the stock manager approached and started violently lecturing me about removing the tag. I explained the cashier asked me to bring the tag to her, which the cashier confirmed to be true. The stock manager continued to rant and rave on me, even saying I could have gotten the tag anywhere. I told the stock manager to check the store camera. The stock manager continued ranting. I left the store and never purchased anything.
