Currently the roads in Lerwick are not safe for our children. I have witnessed careless driving and speeding around small side roads as well as main roads. I would like to focus on traffic calming measures like a 20mph zone in all crescents surrounding and including the full length of Gilbertson Road. With Bells Brae School, The New Anderson High, Clickimin, play parks etc there are lots of children and it's an accident waiting to happen. It was suggested I get a petition and present it to the council so please consider signing this petition and help make our roads safer.
