We don't like the City of San Antonio unilaterally giving away our park space to Google or any other entity for that matter! Especially without the consent of the citizens!

The Google huts are large and noisy and therefore a detriment to our parks. It doesn't make sense for the city government to promote parks as green space and then use them for something else without the neighborhood's concurrence.

There are rules and regulations that need to be met and the Mayor and City Manager allowed this to happen without even a public hearing.

As a kid, from time to time, I would spend a few days at a time with my grandparents who live in a house that feeds into this park. We played together in this park many times. In 2015, my grandfather passed. Over the past year or so I've spent many hours thinking about all the times we had spent together, many of which were in this park. My grandmother still lives in that home. While I know that my time in the park may have passed, I hope this serves as a reminder to the value of a place where families can play together can hold. I'll always have those memories with my grandparents, why would we rob someone else of those same kind of memories?

These are downright ugly buts imposer on our communioty with little or no process. If they are on COSA property, what percentage of the rental fees can be forwarded to the Parks Foundation?
