We, the residents of Neuse Harbour and Lynwood Highlands developments seek restraint of the loose hunting dogs who run wild day and night. We do not want to be in fear of the dogs running into our yards where our children and our pets are at play. We do not want to be awakened when these animals are running in a pack in the middle of the night. We want to prevent harm to the animals, and do not want them to be struck by vehicles when they are running loose. We would like the authorities to investigate why these animals are not restrained, why they are out with open wounds, and if these animals have the proper vaccinations when they come into our neighborhoods.
