Folkestone used to have a free outside skate park and whilst construction of a large indoor skatepark is taking place. The skaters of Folkestone and Cheriton have to travel to neighbouring towns for skateparks or for places to skate. With a new park in Cheriton it would become a free place for us skaters to go and do our thing, with out the risk of being kicked out of spots or having to spend money on travelling. Morhall recreation ground would be a perfect area for a skatepark as it’s a large field, surrounding neighbourhoods won’t have to worry about the noise it would produce. At the end of the day we need somewhere to go where we won’t be bothered or that’s gonna break our bank every time we want to shred. Keep skating alive in our local area and put a skatepark in cheriton
