As we are all aware, Associated Humane in Newark has a terrible reputation.  For decades, animals have suffered from mismanagement, neglect, abuse and now starvation.  The Health Departments of Newark and the State have turned a blind eye and left these animals unprotected.  

The most recent shelter director was relieved of his duties last night which give us a chance to change the outcomes of so many lives.  Please sign and share this petition requesting that this position be given to Darcy Del Castillo.  Darcy has been a blessing to the animals in this State for a very long time.  She has brought the Elizabeth Shelter a 93% live release rate and she can do the same for Newark.  Her commitment to the animals is strong, her rescue connections are unparalleled and these animals deserve this chance.
