Jessie Statovci started this petition to Shell

Big chain oil companies are known for playing a massive role in Climate change as well as overall damage of the environment. The well known oil company, Shell, wants to dump 11.000 tons of oil into the North Sea. This will critically impact not only the environment, but the Marine life within that environment including; fish, birds and marine mammals. These oil spills pollute our seas and kill our wildlife in the process.
Oil polluted into the sea is extremely damaging to the fur and feathers on sea mammals and birds. These animals use their fur as an insulating layer to protect against harsh climate conditions. Without this insulating layer the animals freeze to death being unable to thermoregulate efficiently.

Not only this but all large oil companies have been set a target to reduce their carbon emission by 35% in the next 20 years to be able to reverse the affects of climate change.

Shell is said to increase its combined oil and gas by 38% in the next 10 years. Big corporate companies need to suffer the same repercussions that our environment and future generations are facing due to their callousness.
