Impose daily price revision of Petrol/Diesel at Shell petroleum outlets

In India, Petroleum Products (Diesel/Petrol) prices are revised daily with the rising crude oil prices. But, at Shell Petroleum product outlets, the prices are not revised daily to provide benefits to the customers/commuters. Customer's were charged more closer to Rs.4 or Rs.5 more per litre compared to Indian Oil and HP outlets. Even the newly launched Essar outlets charge closer to govt set prices.

As on 27 June, 2018 Petrol price at HP outlet was Rs.78.40 in Chennai (normal unleaded petrol) whereas Shell outlets charging Rs.83.60 (normal unleaded petrol).

The difference is huge for a litre of Petrol/Diesel. While an average Indian pays closer to 40 to 48 percent as tax for the country's development, it is unfair to collect the extra amount of Rs.4 to Rs.5 even after the fuel prices have come down to under Rs.80 by June 2018.

Kindly look into this and do the needful to implement daily revisions of fuel prices across bunks (all the petroleum product outlets) across the country for the welfare of common citizen.
