Save the Hannah Memorial Greig Hall, ALCESTER,Warwickshire

The Trustees of the Hannah Greig Memorial Hall closed the Hall almost 7 years ago, during which time they appear to have made no effort to reopen it.

This extremely generous gift was made to the people of Alcester by David Grieg in memory of his late wife Hannah Susan Greig. The current management have allowed it to fall into disrepair and delapidation. They still fail to advise the Community of how or if they propose to save the building.

Stratford upon Avon District Council has now stepped in and requested they hand back the site to the council in July, with a view to the Council running the Leisure Facilities and the Hall to be managed and run by the Town Council or a Community Group.

We earnestly request the Trustees to hand over the site and allow the opportunity to reopen the Hannah Greig Memorial Hall for the benefit of the people of Alcester.
