Another building of great character to be destroyed by developers with the assistance of the Labour Group who failed to implement a Conservation Area Status

It is a listed building and more importantly a historic building important to many many people in Sheffield. We have a government who doesn't listen to us and a council that
doesn't. What a democracy we live in!!

A longer term view is necessary, if we preserve our assets and retain striking buildings like this one the city is more likely to attract investment in future. The council should encourage developers to adapt buildings not decimate them so they can be substituted with nondescript concrete boxes.

Sick of SCC riding roughshod over things like this. They never think of the long term and what us Sheffielders want.
