Safe Facility For Drug Users

Drug use has always risen throughout history of time and with an increasing use of legal highs the problems that comes with drugs like addiction & mental health will only lead to more strain on services dealing with people on the frontline & large amounts of funding being wasted on failed plans year in year out.
we already offer people to have drugs tested in clubs and festivals throughout the country, setup places with sharp bins with high numbers of users and there has been shooting galleries setup in the UK that have proven to work. in parts of the country certain drugs are already being decriminalised & better ways of harm reduction are coming into place, we only have to look at other countries & the mountains of evidence that decriminalising/SIF’s & the tax raised has already had a massive positive impact
A safe facility would mean a lot of benefits to the city with the major one being that life’s would be saved, people would have access to a clean environment & be able to test their drugs, outreach teams would be able to focus on one spot, medical staff on site easing up pressure on hospitals, drug waste would fall resulting in less funding being spent cleaning up drug sites around the city, would start to save thousands in tax, the list just goes on
