Sheer waste of invaluable Natural Resource...how are we Monitoring that !!!

Water is important for Life(probably for all living creatures), we humans need it in every few hours, much frequently so in such scorching summer heat, a glassfull of water does more than quenching our thirst, satisfies us to the core(the soul). It's importance grows to much extent, if access to such a valuable resource is not easy for some, as they face tough times when they have to quest for survival !

But, how do we feel about, if gallons of drinkable water are spilled over the road ! When objected at the act, the person comes up with a lame remark of cleaning n cooling down the road ! How Irresponsible & Unacceptable, without a second thought ! & Is that important ?

That's happening in front of us, that's a common sight infact, streets are being washed by uncountable litres of the liquid(mainly by some residents in from of their houses), almost daily, somewhere or the other !! Another concern is a comprehensive car wash system where loads of water is dispensed or rendered waste just out of a hollow desire to see that glossy shine on cars !

My heart wrenches to see so, I wonder if it makes no difference to the other person(who's actually wasting it). If this doesn't bother any third person too(who witnesses the same), I feel disturbed to ponder as what direction we are heading to !

Aren't such people mentally ill or retarded that it doesn't matter to them as where n how is it coming from & where n in what form is it going to. It's of no concern to them if fresh water is ill utilised & simply poured down the drain. Bitter truth is that such sick practices prevail in the society and these go unchecked & are carried out in an uncontrolled manner. But somehow this has to end and someone has to stop those retards, for we can't afford to be casual in case of water, esp. when time n again govt has been trying to keep people concious about water management, be it about usage wastage or saving/preserving the elixir of lives !

I strongly feel that the local Municipal corporations take charge of this and make water wastage a punishable offence, issue Challans to those spotted misusing supply water(like the ones washing roads or streets, pavements or footpaths with drinkable water). Also put such culprits behind bars if they act undeterred even after being cautioned or fined repeatedly. Rightly so because we get to realise the gravity at critical situations in our life. This is no joke, no circus out here. We are sitting at a crucial phase where we are facing climate change n global warming, affecting water carrying capacity of rivers n streams, eventually resulting in depleting groundwater levels !

A lot is being talked about n done around the World to make people aware about the current scenario n future risks centered at or concerned to water crisis, and hence the need to manage it well, adopting methods to make optimum use of the resource and in pretty modest ways !

The message should be loud n clear, we are not at liberty to let such a life supporting nectar as water to simply or casually go in vain. Offenders must be dealt strictly for others to take a note of Caution !!
