Justice for Danielle
Hello my name is Danielle Hilling and I am currently serving a life without mercy sentence at Lakin Correctional Facility.At the age of 24 I was the first black female to receive a "life without mercy"sentence.I am not guilty of murder!!!I admit an take responsibility for my part in this crime...Accessory after the fact.But I did not cause the deathof this victim or conspire to do so.I know that I did not have a fair trial and 13 years later in still sitting in prison.If there is anyone out there that can help me get justice please help.If there is anyone out there that knows me and believes in me plz comment and help get my story out there.All in is for someone to help get the courts to read and research my case and they will see that didn't have fair trial with my trail attorney. I have two children who need need want their mother home.Two of hardest things I've had to experience while being incarcerated is losing my mother and becoming grandmothe.In the past 13 years I've seen so many girls come and go many come back time time again.Emotionally it drains and makes me very sad.I see all these girls get chance after chance and I who am a changed woman can't get one chance . I want nothing more than to go home and be a grandmother. Mother daughter sister and aunt.And to think I may never get a chance to see the other side of the fence devastates me and my family. I trusted in the legal system that the truth would come out about that night. Ill do anything to prove that I am innocent of murder. I was naive uneducated unsophisticated young black woman who was taken advantage of. I respectfully ask anyone there plz me with my second chance at life.
