The dress code at Sharyland High school is very strict. I completely agree with keeping things professional but some things are unnecessary. For example, wearing leggings with an appropriate shirt, should not be considered a distraction or unprofessional. In my opinion, hair is a way of expression, I completely agree that school is not a fashion show, however; having hair under your eyebrows (as a male) doesn’t make you seem unsanitary. In addition, living in Texas is definitely a struggle when it comes to the heat, this is exactly why I believe that wearing shorts is something that should not be considered inappropriate.
