The said restaurant, "The Hungry Spoon Cafe" located in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has issued a statement(https://goo.gl/Ra8VnG) saying that the news contains controversial, harmful and inaccurate statements about their business and their treatment of Charlie the Shark.

They have also noted that their financial budget at that time was not sufficient so so did they did best that they could, when questioned about keeping Charlie captive in such a small tank.

Aquaria KLCC has released a statement saying that they are willing to take in Charlie the Shark. While it could be impossible to release Charlie back into the wild due to his time in captivity, the other best option would be for Aquaria KLCC to take Charlie in. With proper professionals and tanks designed specifically to keep sharks in captivity, Aquaria KLCC also has the funds and the expertise to take Charlie the Shark in.

Sign this petition to give pressure to our governments so that other sharks will not have to live the life that Charlie has lived.
