The graduating class should be able to decorate their caps as they please. There would still be certain things that are not allowed on them (drugs, alcoholic beverages, gangs, ect.) but they should still be able to. This is their last year in school before heading off to the “Real World”. Why not take the ability for them to enjoy their experience a little further?

If we get at least half of the graduating class (other students can sign for future change) there would be no reason for the board to say we can’t decorate caps. These are celebrations for the community. Don’t let the schools rules take away your individuality. If we can’t decorate our caps, why even have them? The people that buy them will keep these forever. To hold on to as memories of their high school years. Having everybody look the same with plain caps will hold no individual memory. Just that we attended Shadow Hills. There will be no memories of the friends and teachers we had, just a day we got a piece of paper with our name. LET US DECORATE CAPS
