Since purchasing the Jaguars in 2012, Shad Khan has make great strides toward rebuilding the team—and its image. A new coaching staff, new players, new logo and new uniforms are helping to create a "new attitude" (or should that be "cat-titude"?) for the team, but one thing crucial aspect is missing ... an official anthem.
The Internet is chock-full of Jaguars-themed songs in every genre imaginable: Some are decent, but most are musical cat-astrophes. There is only one song, however, that actually deserves to be associated with the Jaguars.
Written, produced and performed by Thrill Da Playa (aka Van Bryant), "Show Up Show Out" reflects the team's bold new look and fans’ renewed sense of pride. It's catchy, upbeat and positive, yet intimidating to opponents. Formerly of the 69 Boyz, who formed in Jacksonville, Bryant is a multi-platinum recording artist and producer, whose song “Tootsee Roll” is one of the longest running singles in the history of Billboard’s rap music chart.
