There is a mouse infestation happening in SFP. People are finding not just one, but MULTIPLE mice in their apartments within days of getting rid of the previous one. Mouse poop is being found in our beds, on the floor where babies are trying to eat it, there’s nothing we can do about it and all of this is happening in very clean homes. 

Harvard University Housing MUST take action. By signing this petition each of us is asking HUH to find a solution to this problem which may include the following: 

1) Ramp up pest control spending to eradicate the infestation

2) Reimburse residents for cost of supplies used to rid their apartments of the mouse 

3) Provide rent relief for those living with mice and cannot get rid of them

Living in Soldiers Field Park is a privilege. One that many families and people make large financial and spatial sacrifices to be able to live here. It is a place of built in community and convenience. Student parents are able to see their families more often than if they lived somewhere else. And each of these families pay a premium to live there and take part in this amazing community. 

It is completely unacceptable for Harvard Housing to ignore this infestation. They must protect our children, families, and pets from the disease that comes with mice.
