I have known Mrs. Jaye for quite some time, and know how much this tree means to her, and what she feels it brings to the history and benefit of our city.

I am a native San Franciscan and believe that we need to keep majestic trees and unique people in San Francisco for as long as possible

I just visited SF for the first time a week ago and Lombard street was on my must-see list, I love nature and was delighted to see all the flowers and trees everywhere on this area and I did notice this beautiful tree, it would be a shame to cut a tree that houses birds, butterflies, gives shade and purifies the air to everybody, just to give a "view" to a bunch of spoiled people that are, just like vultures , waiting for this lady to die. I hope this tree will stand tall after all the neighbours die, .

Saving an historic tree in the middle of San Francisco is a no-brainer. Isn't there already enough development and cement?

I know Mary Jaye personally. She and my Mom worked together for many years. Please save this beautiful tree. Mary has so many cherished memories and this Redwood tree will preserve them forever.

In my opinion, this magnificent tree meets the criteria for San Francisco's Landmark Tree program.
