CAL Tennis is a local business that serves a large portion of the tennis community in San Francisco and we are proud to see the positive impact this sport has on children, adults, and families. 

The purpose of this petition is to bring about change around the permitted access to the park and school tennis courts, in order for CAL Tennis to serve and meet the needs of the tennis community. 

IMPORTANT FACTS: 

- There is an urgent need for courts to provide tennis lessons to the community.

- Children and adults want to improve and need more courts to receive instruction. 

- We need to provide quality teaching to our community but there are no courts or lit courts made available to rent for lessons. 

- CAL Tennis serves a large portion of the San Francisco tennis community.

- The schools and the City would benefit from the rental income paid for tennis court access. 

- Court permit access will provide much-needed jobs for coaches.  

 There are no options to rent or reserve any courts for instruction in San Francisco. There is a large community that needs to be served and we are unable to do so.
