This petition ensures the school will take direct action for victims, as opposed to taking the word of the assaultant. This will ensure a safe environment for students to grow both emotionally, and in their studies. It ensures that if the school cannot take direct action, that a report will atleast be noted, and witness statements taken to aid in the investigative process. This will also ensure that if a student is in possession of child pornography that corrective action will be taken. This will apply to all students, whether the child is gay or straight, white or a person of color, and male or female. As the students of Odyssey Jr/Sr High, we are tired of the emotional damage from not being heard, we demand justice for our peers who have been assaulted, whether by teachers or a fellow classmate.
