STOP THE SEVEN SISTERS HOUSING DEVELOPMENT IN STIRLING

As a resident of Cambusbarron village, I agree wholly with the petition statement. The adverse effect to the local wildlife and ancient woodlands would be devastating. I also cannot believe that they are considering building on a site with such poor drainage. The field is permanently flooded at the bottom, a natural feature where wildlife thrive. The road access to the village is blocked multiple times a year during heavy rain which floods onto the road at the bottom of this site. The M9 motorway is only a few hundred yards further down the hill. Flash floods are common in the village during heavy rainfall. The overflow of water if you were to cover the area in concrete could be catastrophic and life threatening to the motorway below. Just insane!
