Send Roseville City School District students back to school

Send Roseville City School District students back to school
Why this petition matters

Placer County has given permission for all Placer County schools to reopen, yet Roseville City School District is dragging their feet in getting students back to the classroom. They have had months of preparation to plan for return-to-school, yet have no plan in place and are months out from even deciding on how it's accomplished. The Superintendent sent an update saying that our kids will not return to the classroom until November, and even then in a hybrid model. The timeline that follows will not see our children back to full-day school at all this year. It's unacceptable that the people we have elected to serve our community are not rolling up their sleeves and doing everything possible to do what's best for our children and we will not allow the current situation to progress any further. We implore the Superintendent and the RCSD Board Members to expedite this process ASAP. We don't need empty words or promises, RCSD families want action and want to see our children back to school in September, as many other Placer County schools are doing. If we continue on the Superintendent's current path, our kids will have missed out on more than a year of classroom instruction. We will remember who fought for our kids come election time.
