Term limits for all public offices in the United States Federal government

Term limits for all public offices in the United States Federal government

We the People demand accurate and evolving representation. We know that our elected officials are incentivised to make deals that are detrimental to The United States of America in order to ensure personal gain. This petition is a demand from the people. We know our current legislators will not approve of this proposal to limit their own power, so it must be forced upon them. Failure to enact these term limits, as described below, into law will result in the immediate and irreversible dismissal of all current members in opposition.
In this petition, we demand that our legislators move up or move out.
Effective at the close of the current term all current members of the House or Senate that have already served 2 terms in their respective office are no eligible for reelection to their position.
