Allow mountain biking on selected Wilderness trails!

Please sign this petition to support case-by-case access for bicycling on some trails in some congressionally designated Wilderness areas as determined by the local Wilderness land managers. We thank Senator Mike Lee of Utah for introducing legislation that would let Wilderness land managers in Utah decide on modes of human-powered travel in Utah Wilderness areas, particularly bicycling. We urge the Utah congressional delegation to co-sponsor Senator Lee’s bill, S.2877, or the House version, H.R. 1349. We further urge the Utah congressional delegation to intercede with the U.S. Forest Service and get it to stop banning bicycle riding in forests that aren’t Wilderness but are being eyed for a potential Wilderness designation.
