Single parenting not a "lifestyle choice"

One Nation's endorsed candidate for the seat of Pilbara in WA, David Archibald, has stated that single mothers have made a "lifestyle choice".
He asserted that "these are women too lazy to attract and hold a mate", and also claimed that "this will result in a rapid rise in the portion of the population that is lazy and ugly".
Furthermore, he tells us: "We know what causes pregnancy these days, so everyone who gets pregnant outside of marriage is a volunteer. This is an easy one for defunding."
As a daughter of a brave single mother and a friend of single parents, these words become personal. Who is David Archibald to dare condemn mothers raising their children alone, and foolishly assert that these women are "too lazy"? I am absolutely shocked by these ludicrous and offensive views. And even moreso to learn that these are the words of a man campaigning as a parliamentary candidate.
If this isn't awful enough, David Archibald has also been stated to suggest defunding the disability support pension and childcare. And in other statements, describes himself as "part-Aboriginal" - and labels the Stolen Generations a "myth"!
Furthermore, Mr Archibald slammed 'single mothers' as choosing to single parent and "being too lazy" to "hold down a mate" but what about single fathers? And didn't our very own Prime Minister in his election campaign laud his single dad for raising him? It would appear that David Archibald only considers single mums in his alleged "lifestyle choice" - apparently discriminating against women.
This is not about politics. Senator Hanson, I am not petitioning against your party - but I am imploring you to remove candidates who discriminate against and slander women, people with disabilities and Indigenous peoples. The Australian people cannot accept discriminating and ignorant views to be propagated by leaders - irrespective of their party.
Ms Hanson, Mr McLean, Ms Daniels, One Nation Party Secretariat, David Archibald has stood by his comments and is not fit to run for office. And it is disturbing that your party has not already disendorsed him. Do the right thing, and force this electoral candidate to stand down. Or does your party also endorse these views?
Where is the outrage?
We implore you to remove your Pilbara candidate from your endorsed candidates.
