Kentucky nurses need a state law or regulation for Nurse/Patient Ratio similar of that to teachers in a daycare setting. Nurses are working under-staffed and are required by employers and even mandated to work over their shift due to staffing issues because  no current state laws are in Kentucky to prevent these working conditions within a health care setting.  Kentucky nurses need state laws in place to give safer, more efficient care to patients in the health care setting.
