My wife, Yae Inoue, who is a Japanese citizen, had to leave the country over 20 months ago to make possible the application for a green card from both countries...this is the method we were told to do. There is no dual citizenship allowed between Japan and the U.S. It has been 20 months of sadness for us. I have received advice from both legal avenues and from political staffs. Both of these avenues innocently misguided us somewhat on the directions to take, such as forms to use and how to fill them out correctly. I understand the volatile and everchanging nature of immigration and realize it is hard to keep up with. And, I call the National Visa Center and they really aren't accommodating and one actually told me to get a lawyer. I don't have that kind of money. I recently was misguided again by the NVC. One of them told me ignore and disregard a notice I received from them and that all would be fine. Over a month later (two days ago) I was informed that I was given the wrong info and to re-file my last for and it would take another waiting period. I am a self employed musician/composer and recording artist. I received the 2010 Governor's Award for the Arts from, then Governor, Brian Schweitzer and the state of Montana. I have dedicated my life with service to the arts. I ask for your help in bringing my missed and beloved wife, Yae, home. Can you help us at least get a visa for her immediately that would allow us to be together here while this finds a resolution... Please?
