Postpone hearings for Supreme Court Nominee Neil Gorsuch

Today it has been confirmed that Donald Trump, as well as key figures within his campaign (and possibly now in his administration), are formally being investigated for acts of collusion with the Russian government in regards to the 2016 Presidential election.
While the shadows of doubt are being cast over the legitimacy of this presidency, our Congress must take the unprecedented step of postponing all executive orders and appointments--to the extent that it is reasonably possible without hindering the workings of government.
The highest and most pressing of these actions would be the appointment of a Supreme Court Justice. A Justice installed under such circumstances has the possibility of creating a ripple effect of mistrials and appeals that would undermine the charge of fair and speedy accountability in our legal system.
We, the undersigned, ask that a swift, temporary action be taken to prevent any Supreme Court Nominee hearings until the FBI and other United States Intelligence Agencies have concluded their investigations.
