Port Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone to PC
English:
Remember how Sega said that they will focus more on PC and Mobile, and also remember that survey on what platforms that we would like to play Project Diva Arcade on? Many that are on the internet are interested in a PC release of Project Diva future tone, because: 1. Not everybody has the money to buy a PlayStation 4, and many people on the internet are sick of third party exclusive bullcrap, when it's first party's jobs like Sony to make their own. 2. Better control variety. On PC you can use a Xbox or PlayStation controller, alongside with a keyboard and mouse if you really wanted to. 3. Framerates and performance. I noticed with the PSP games and the F Series that 30FPS is barely playable for a rhythm game (Also most action, platformers, shooter, and rhythm games playability are neutered when playing at a locked 30FPS). When i played the PSP entries, I didn't like the stuttering issues and 30fps on PSP, so I loaded the game into an emulator, used a code for 60fps, and most of my problems dissapeared then and there. 4. Edit Mode. I think that edit mode would be far superior on PC because of mod support and an easier workflow to make better content. Having this + the steam workshop (Or another mod distribution method) would be great for custom costumes, stages, and songs. Although there is the dark side of the community, this can be prevented mostly with Steam Workshop as people can flag the mods that need to go through quality assurance. I think that Project Diva Future Tone would be a great addition to the PC games that are already available, because there aren't many AAA Rhythm games, and if Disgaea and Danganronpa can get an audience on PC, so cant a game with vocaloids! To be honest, I wouldn't care if SEGA had a porting group like Devils Details (The guys who ported Sonic Generations to PC) or SEGA Europe do the PC port (As long as the port is optimized). The arcade version already runs on a windows operating system, so it should be easier to port over too.
