59% of people of color face mistreatment when seeking medical treatment. Women of color are usually not considered reliable whitenesses to their own conditions and are often given wrong medication and diagnosis.   For permit and licensing bodies includes NBOME, PACCC, NCSBN, NCC-PA, CNPE, MCC, COMPLEX, and USMLE in order to make sure that only the most eligible  candidates will make it further into the medical field. It is their role to make sure these future healthcare workers completely understand and treat racial disparities with attention. They must also know how the disparities affect treatment of patients, diagnosis, prognosis and possible presence of disease.
