Tattooing is an art. I would like to see doctors try and make beautiful art like tattoo artists.

I love tattoos and it would be a great loss to lose the art for politics and stigma.

The next person who could save your child's life could be somebody heavily tattooed but because you teach them to fear people that looks different, they may flee from the only help they may get. Think about it.

As Co-Manager of an amazing tattoo studio I understand the health standards that must be followed for tattoos and I know the procedures and licences that they must have which do not extend to a medical practice. Tattoing is an artform which must be regulated for hygiene but must be open for creation. Tattoos in Japan must be preserved and encouraged, to keep this art alive and this professionals out of jail. As a foreigner with tattoos who traveled to Japan, I encourage acceptance and equality of opportunity for tattooers and the tattoed.

The Japanese Government should regulate the Tattoo practice. There should be a license specifically for a Tattoo Artist. I fully support the licensing system.
