We call on Government, Network Rail, and the train companies to urgently fix the current problems at London Bridge Station. We also call on government to put passengers first and allow TfL to run all rail services in south London to meet growing demand.

The current improvement works at London Bridge station are needed and will bring huge benefits. However, the way the works have been managed and the impact on passengers is unacceptable.

The problems at London Bridge, and the increasing demand for rail services in south London demonstrate that we need a properly integrated rail network that puts passengers first. Too many people are over-crowded on trains in south London, or are left behind as they are full.

Transport for London have proven with London Overground that a better approach is possible. We need government to allow TfL to become the franchising authority for south London to extend the benefits of the Overground.
