Save our 1,000 year old village

Melbury Abbas is a 1,000 year old village in Dorset that is slowly being destroyed by large vehicles that are deliberately being routed through the village by Dorset County Council. This is despite a road width of less than 4.8 meters, sharp bends, and steep hills on both ends of the village. Residents are forced to endure daily jams that prevent them from even leaving their own homes. The signs directing HGVs through Melbury Abbas must be removed, and a weight and size restriction established as requested by the Police and Emergency Services to limit further damage and avoid more serious accidents.
