We must stop destroying our ancient woodland. It cannot be replaced. The importance of the eco systems created and the bio diversity should be protected at all costs.

Absolutely outrageous that this is even being considered in a time of climate emergency.

As a woodland owner I am aware of how important such habitat is, yes it has to be managed (for a wide range of reasons) but bulldozing it to build houses is utter insanity and ironically in a part of the world where woodland owners can get into trouble for building so much as a wooden composting toilet on their own land. Perception amongst so many I speak to is that planning in this country is a corrupt and broken system.

Our Ancient Woodland is a vital habitat for Fauna and Flora, for clean air for saving our ever diminishing nature and bio diversity. We are killing our Natural World and Humanity.

I've walked many a time around these lands and it a truly beautiful place. Sick of developers destroying precious habitats in the name of greed. I say, less people, not more houses.

Too much of our countryside is being taken away. We need to think about the environment and our wildlife

Ancient woodlands are too important to be destroyed for short term gain.
