Ivan Lewis started this petition to Secretary of State For Health and Social Care

Bury has a larger than average proportion of its population who suffer from mental health issues. The Government acknowledges that NHS Bury is underfunded by £10m.

Therefore:

We, the undersigned, call on the Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP- Secretary of State for Health and Social Care- to ensure the necessary funding is made available so that NHS Bury can:

1. Improve access to face-to-face talking therapies.

2. Develop community-based support activities in partnership with the voluntary sector.

3. Transform access to CAMHS support for families and schools.

4. Raise the standard and capacity of NHS crisis and inpatient services.

5. Co-produce policies and services with people with mental health issues and their families.
