Whilst I don't live locally and have school age children, I do work within the educational sector and fully acknowledge the benefits that free schools bring to young people in preparing them for their future lives. Building confidence and life skills is as import as a GCSE, if not more so.

It is a disgrace that at secondary school level the community of Radlett is not being serviced. Not everyone is in a position to send their children to a private school.

It is clearly an absolute disgrace that the incompetence of the civil servants within the EFA should jeopardise the development of this much needed school. Miss Morgan, your government has been extolling the virtues of Academies for a long while now, and it is very sad to see mistakes by your own staff being 'covered up' by poor decisions by your own ministers - it brings your whole party and government into disrepute and I, we, urge you to get involved personally and please 'sort this out' - only by some hands on action by those supposedly in charge - namely yourself - will you gain any support from those you are so desperately trying to win over.

It is scandalous that expectations have been raised that the proposed site was suitable for this much needed secondary school only to find that the site is too small. The Radlett community needs a secondary school

The area needs a secondary school; the Department needs to deal with its incompetence and put things right for local residents; and unless it does so, how can the Government be trusted with its plans for Academy schools?

I feel there is a need for more quality education centres in this area. This free school could provide a refreshing and pioneering approach to education.
