Stop the housing benefit cut for 18-21 yr olds!

Well they announced that quietly! The Government have confirmed they plan to immediately axe housing benefit for 18-21 yr olds...
The change could come as early as April, putting 9000 people at risk of homelessness.
A 1st April protest at Westminster is planned, and needs your support. Organisers have said:
"Since 2010, homelessness under Tory rule has doubled. Policies such as these will continue leaving vulnerable people without homes, making it almost impossible to get into work or education. The scrapping of housing benefit for young people could well effect those who have been kicked out of home or forced out through sexual or physical abuse. It will also disproportionately effect the LGBT community. For many young people, it is not as simple as going back home. Many could end up on the streets, resulting in an array of other issues such as crime, prostitution and addiction among other things".
The National Landlords Association have said it will put their members off accepting young tenants on benefits, making it "very difficult" for them to find homes.
ACORN #RentersRising is a 20,000 strong union of tenants, many of whom already struggle to access housing. This cut will make things much worse and won't even save much money as the welfare bill for young people is small.
They're only doing this to honour a bizarre manifesto pledge. Is that worth 9000 people risking homelessness?
Please sign, share and join the protest!
