Tell ICE: Don’t Deport Our Dad!

Our father, Santos, was picked up by ICE and is currently detained in Stafford, VA. He has been a tireless proponent of immigrant rights, and has dedicated an extensive amount of time to making his community better. Now he needs us. And we need him here with us. Will you help us?

Letter to
Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano
Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) John Morton
I am writing to call for the immediate release of Santos Munoz (A201222988) from Rappahannock Regional Jail and urge ICE to immediately lift its immigration hold on him.

Santos is the father of 3 DREAM-eligible youth. Since his time in the US, he has been an active member various community organizations in the DC region, as well as his congregation at St. Alban’s Church.

“He is a great father and is always there for me. My siblings and I really need a father here with us, especially my youngest brother who is only 14.” says his son Ezequiel.

Esperanza Nope, a member of Santos’ congregation says, “Santos is someone who truly embodies service to others and has dedicated himself to improving the lives of people in our community. He is someone you can count on to be there when you need him, and stand for what is right.”

A loving and dedicated father, Santos has shown extraordinary commitment to defend others in need and is an asset to his community. I urge ICE to lift its immigration hold on Santos Munoz and call for his immediate release from the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
