Animals are purchased in stores daily, and there is no problem with that; until the owners release them into the wild soon after. When owners do this, the animals become an invasive species. Invasive species are animals that are not native to that area and can soon endanger the environment. They can do many harmful things, like hunt off all of the preexisting animals and overpopulate the location. Many species that have became invasive are: Burmese Pythons (in Florida), Lion fish (in Gulf of Mexico), and European Rabbits (in Australia).

We need your help to stop people releasing their store bought pets into the wild! Save the environment!
