Remove Kshama Sawant from the Seattle City Council for Inciting Violence

Jameyson MacDonald started this petition to Mayor - Seattle Ed Murray and

Upon the election of Donald J Trump to the office of president, Councilmember Kshama Sawant began advocating massive protests against the Democratically elected Donald Trump. She also called for a complete "shut down" of the United States on Inauguration Day. The footage can be seen at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89sf_i0B-48. Just hours after Ms Sawant's speech was uploaded to the internet, protests, some violent, began occurring.

This is not the first time Ms. Sawant has been involved in embarrassing scandal. In 2013, she was arrested for interfering with a legal eviction being carried out by the King County Sheriff - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIZzqujX_jg. In 2014, she was arrested for participating in a disorderly protest over minimum wage - http://q13fox.com/2014/11/19/seattle-city-councilwoman-sawant-3-others-arrested-at-protest-over-lawsuit-to-block-15-wage/. In 2015, she was arrested for Disorderly Conduct - http://www.kiro7.com/news/councilmember-kshama-sawant-charged-disorderly-con/82075814. Now she's advocating the impediment of a presidential election.

As a government official in the state of Washington, Ms Sawant swore to "support the Constitution of the United States". By refusing to acknowledge the legitimate outcome of the presidential election and by further attempting to incite dissent, Ms Sawant is violating her oath as a Councilmember. As she clearly has no respect for the Constitution of the United States or the laws of this nation, she is not fit to hold an office whose sworn duty is to protect such.

It is our, the petitioner's, request that Ms Kshama Sawant be removed from the office of City Council.
