There is no where to take your dogs in or around Sylvan that is off leash that has water access. I think the Half Moon Bay Boat launch would be a good place. If a small gate was extended into the water some ways down from the boat launch it would be safe for all parties. If permission from the campground was not granted, another small fence would be installed at their property line. Or the county could purchase land from the Kasota campground, enough for parking that would be beneficial for the boaters aswell. Many people already take their dogs there and it's obvious that the struggle to enjoy the area with their dogs on leash is unnecessary. Let them be free!
