Scrap NHS Prescriptions in England keeping them in line with Scotland and Wales. It's also time to scrap NHS Dental Charges and keep England in line with Wales.

Every petition that asks for this to be considered is stopped. This is why we are asking on Change.org and not the UK Parliament website. Hopefully over time this subject will be taken seriously. If the rest of the UK can do this in these times without the excuses of having to charge to balance the books. 

I think the government needs to think carefully about the next general election. At present over 60's receive free prescriptions, having paid into the system all of their working life. This is now threatened to be abolished. The electorate is angry and rightly so. It's time that this was looked at, and then the rest of the country was brought in line with the rest of the United Kingdom.
